So she was born screaming and sideways - Susie went without meds again for this baby. My wife is a super trooper. She’s stronger than I ever will be - I’d be begging for something to knock me out. Anyway our baby girl “Lily” or you can call her Kate was born at 12:36pm on May 5th 2006 (Cinco de Mayo). She weighed 7lbs 3oz and measured 20.5in long. She’s very healthy and went in for her checkup with the doctor yesterday. She’s gained 11oz since she was born so that is a great sign she’s growing up strong (Mother’s Milk is the best!). She sleeps probably 85% of the day but wakes up every couple hours to feed - she’s like a little vampiress. But she’s cute and healthy and we’re super excited to have a little girl in the family. Ethan loves her too but he’s not quite as excited as we are - I think he’ll like her more as she get’s old and wants to play with him. Then he’ll have a little sister to look after.
